How Does Booking the Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill™ Food Truck Work?
The Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill™ food truck is unique among other local food truck concepts. Our menu is a combination of authentic Jamaican cuisines and a fusion of other cultural dishes with a Jamaican twist. Prepared fresh from scratch then served from our mobile unit, our customers get to experience the island vibe with their taste buds.
Because of our unique concept, we evaluate food truck booking requests on a case by case basis.
General requirements include:
- Minimum 10 business days advance notice
- Non-refundable $250 deposit to secure date
- Food truck is limited on weekends during the summer months
- General requirements subject to change & additional terms may apply
Minimum Sales Guarantee of:
Catering Event: $1000 minimum for 2 hour event (50% deposit due at time of booking, remaining balance due 1 week prior to event); $250 each additional hour
Community Events: $800 minimum total sales for weekday events; $1200 minimum total sales for weekend events ($250 non-refundable commitment fee due at time of booking)

Food Truck Parking Requirements:
We require the equivalent of 4 parking spaces for the Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill truck. Client must verify in advance that adequate space/parking for the food truck is available at the event location. If we are unable to park at the event, all monies for the event will be retained by Positive Vibes Food. Please note: We CANNOT park on hills or steep inclines.
Travel Fee
Destinations >50 miles from zip code 20872 are subject to a travel fee of $1/mile (roundtrip)
Cancellation Policy
- If you decide to cancel your event (for any reason besides inclement weather):
- > 30 or more days prior to the event date, the full deposit will be refunded
- 15-29 days prior to event, ½ of the deposit will be refunded
- < 14 days prior to event, NO refund will be provided
- Raincheck policy: If your event cannot be held due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the event for the first available date.
